Here is the list of the beliefs we checked in class today. Choose one you agree with and another one you disagree with.
1. Having written lesson plans allows me to see what I have done with a group and to keep a record of the progress.
2. I prepare a lesson plan only to satisfy my supervisor - I honestly feel I don't need one.
3. Having a lesson plan shows professionalism from the teacher.
4. I don't need a lesson plan 'cause I have taught this class many times before, and I can do the same activities.
5. A lesson plan should include a detailed description of all the activities.
6. Having a written lesson plan ensures students confidence in the teacher.
7. I can prepare my class in my mind and I won't forget what to do.
8. A lesson plan should be at least a page long.
9. A lesson plan must be always written.
10. Students enjoy classes without a lesson plan more because they will have more opportunities to decide what to talk about or what to do.
11. Lesson plans impede spaces for improvisation and creativity.
Have a good night!!
